Munson Senior Trash Pick-Up 2026
Attention Munson Township Seniors
The Munson Township Trustees are joining forces with the Geauga County Department on Aging for the 2026 Munson Senior Trash Pick-Up Days on April 22, 23 and 24
Please have items outside home or garage on Monday, April 20th.

Register and complete the trash pick-up intake with the Geauga County Department on Aging at 440-279-2130 by April 15 or earlier. Please note, to receive trash pick-up assistance, you must be 60 years of age or older, live in Munson Township and be registered with the Department on Aging for 2026.
- What Munson Twp. Will take: Unbroken car batteries & lawn mowers, tires off the rim (4 per load), appliances (washers, dryers, stoves, refrigerators {Freon must be removed}, freezers and dishwashers) and old furniture. Wood, pipe or other large items should be reduced to 6’ or less lengths, two men should be able to lift each item. Small items must be bagged, boxed, or bundled. NO LOOSE materials will be collected.
- What Munson Twp. Will Not Take: Construction/remodeling debris, sinks, vanity’s, toilets, liquids, paint or other hazardous materials, rocks, yard waste, household garbage, propane tanks, televisions, computer monitors or recyclable items such as: newspapers, magazines and cardboard. Residents are asked not to leave items that can be disposed of in their weekly curbside pickup.
The Munson Township Road Crew and the Department on Aging cannot enter homes. All refuse items must be outside by garages, out buildings or in the driveway. Please DO NOT leave items by curbside.
Limit to 10 household items per home
